7 Marketing Tips from my FAVORITE Female Online Entrepreneurs

One of my FAVORITE things about running an online business is that it allows me to meet and connect with women all over the world. Women that, were I working in an office, I’d never even know existed. I’d never have the opportunity to learn from them, to support them and to be in relationship with them.

One of the things I believe at the very core of my being is that we are better humans when we are exposed to people, cultures and societies that don’t look like our own. And running an online business has exposed me to so many of these things.

But what I also know is that some of you haven’t yet gotten the courage to reach out and make connections with the amazing women that are (virtually) all around you. And that means you’re missing out on their perspective, gifts and nuggets of wisdom that I get all the time.

So, to bring a little bit of that to you, today I’m sharing 7 Marketing Tips from my FAVORITE Female Online Entrepreneurs in the hopes that you’ll not only learn something (which I 100% know you will) but also that you’ll be exposed to some new faces and perspectives in the online space.

”Do it afraid. The only way to confidently show up online is through consistently doing the scary until it no longer feels scary.”

“Become obsessed about two things:
1. Sharing value-rich content, generously, consistently, and passionately and
2. Building real relationships with your tribe. Because when people can FEEL your obsession with their success, you rise above all the noise and are truly able to stand in your place as a leader worth following.”

“Track your connections. Pre-clients, current clients, past clients, biz friends, mentors -- I used to feel ultra guilty about adding connecting with people as a task or reminder but the truth is I've always done this IRL (i.e. adding a friend's surgery to my calendar to remember to check in on her), so doing it for my business just makes sense and maximizes my time online. Start it with a brain dump, pick a day to maintain your spreadsheet and you're good to go!”

“Believe in yourself and the value you bring to the table because confidence is everything when it comes to successful marketing. While there are hundreds of marketing strategies out there, there’s nothing that beats the results that deep inner confidence will generate for you.”

“Nothing will skyrocket your business like having conversations with the people you want to work with (and keep them going!!). It keeps you from assuming you know all, and shifts you into a place of service based selling vs spam selling.

Find the method of conversation that works best for you — emails, Insta, FB groups, LinkedIn, FB bots, FB lives, phone calls, MemberVault quiz questions — the how matters LESS than the JUST DO IT.”

“Video has the ability to deliver your message, share your expertise, and connect with others unlike anything else. Repurpose your videos and live streaming on YouTube, your Facebook pages, blogs, website, and create mini clips to answer common questions people ask you, which will position you as the expert.”

“Don't worry about being original, just focus on being YOU. When you connect your story to the service you provide, then go tell people about it in an authentic way, THAT is what will set you apart and attract the right clients.”
